What does it cost to list my shop?
Joining and listing your gear is free. You get 2 locations included. Renters pay a $2 booking fee to the LTG platform to confirm each reservation — you collect the rental payment at your shop. Your first 4 confirmed rentals each month cost you nothing. After that, a monthly platform fee kicks in based on volume: $15 for 5–9 rentals, $30 for 10–19, $50 for 20–50, and so on. Extra locations beyond 2 are $10/mo each. The Storefront website is a separate optional $30/month add-on. Full details on the pricing page.
What happens when my 30-day Storefront trial ends?
Your store stays on the platform and renters can still find and book your gear. Your Storefront website reverts to a basic profile page. All your custom content — hero images, about page, gallery — is saved. Subscribe any time to bring it all back exactly as you left it.
Do I need a credit card to start the trial?
No. You sign up, get approved, and immediately have 30 days of full Storefront access. We won't charge you without your explicit consent.
How do renters pay for their rental?
LeaveTheGear only collects the $2 booking fee. The actual rental payment happens at your shop, with your register, your payment system. We never touch the rental money.
Can I use my own domain name?
Custom domain support is on our roadmap. For now, your store lives at leavethegear.com/your-shop — a clean, memorable URL you can share anywhere.
What if I cancel my Storefront subscription?
You keep access through the end of your billing period. After that, your site reverts to the basic profile. Your content is never deleted — it's saved and waiting if you decide to come back.
Is there a contract or commitment?
No contracts. Storefront is month-to-month — cancel any time from your dashboard. No cancellation fees, no penalties, no hoops.
